About
I wasn't raised in the Church. In fact, I wasn't saved until I was 34 years old, a single mom of a toddler & 6 weeks pregnant with my son. It was the moment that completely changed my life (and theirs) forever. But that's what happens when you have an encounter with God... you're never the same.
Since then, I haven't been able to keep quiet about God. Literally. I couldn't help but share all that He had done for me and all that He could do for others. So I started sharing God to the people at my work, to friends, family and even to complete strangers. I started getting invited to share about God at events and felt led to start a podcast to continue that conversation. I began serving in the church and then came the tug to jump into full time ministry a few years ago. And by the grace of God it happened. What I've witnessed and seen God do in and through His people has only continued to build my faith and wreck my heart in the best way possible. Because God is and will always be doing far more than we can think our imagine. He's in the details. He's in the waiting. And He's with you.
My hope through this platform is to encourage you to chase after God and His plans for your life. To remind you that what you might think is a mess in your life right now, He can turn into the most beautiful message. To not only set you free, but to set others that hear about your testimony free as well.
Because that is the kind of powerful, loving & merciful God we serve!
My Family
We're a Jesus following, homeschooling, outdoor loving, worshipping kind of family. But I'll be honest, it is messy at times trying to steward it all and yet so very beautiful at the same time. I've learned over the last few years that God often doesn't call us to a comfortable life. It's usually very uncomfortable and requires a level of trust and faith we never knew possible if we want to experience the impossible with Him. And that's where He meets us all and has met us again and again. I'm so very grateful for His mercy and the blessing of my children and that God has been with us every step of the way. Leading us, teaching us, loving us and using us to encourage others.
Ministry
Since I got saved, I've jumped into serving in ministries such as children's, women's, prayer, healing, outreach, media, greeting, and for a few years I spent time developing ministries and leaders. I've had the honor of getting to partner with non-profits for pro-life, and developed tools for church's to advance the kingdom online. I've got the blessing of speaking at events for homeschool moms, kids camps, middle school and high school ministries, shared messages for Sunday services and have traveled to places like South America to preach the gospel on mission to the community. God in his grace has allowed me to sit under so many diverse & incredible mentors in and out of the church building and it has been life changing in so many ways. I have gleaned wisdom from so many wise leaders of the faith and through serving that I hope to share with you to grow your walk and family with God.
