I wasn't raised in the Church. In fact, I wasn't saved until I was 34 years old, a single mom of a toddler & 6 weeks pregnant with my son. It was the moment that completely changed my life forever. But that's what happens when you encounter Jesus... you're never the same.
Since then, I haven't been able to keep quiet about God. Literally. I couldn't help but share all that He had done and all that He could do for others. So I started sharing God to the people at my work, to friends, family and even to complete strangers. I started getting invited to share about God at events and felt lead to start a podcast to continue that conversation. I began serving in the church and then came the tug to jump into full time ministry a few years ago. And by the grace of God it happened. What I've witnessed and seen God do in and through His people has only continued to build my faith and wreck my heart in the best way possible. Because God is and will always be doing far more than we can think our imagine. He's in the details. He's in the waiting. And He's with you.
My hope through this platform is to encourage you to keep chasing after Him and His plans for your life. And what you might think is a mess, He can turn into your message. To not only set you free, but to set others that hear about your testimony free as well. Because that is the God we serve!
Our Family
We're a homeschooling, outdoor loving, worshipping kind of family. But I'll be honest, life is messy trying to juggle it all as a single mom and yet so very beautiful at the same time. I've learned over the last few years that God often doesn't call us to a comfortable life. It's usually very uncomfortable and requires a level of trust and faith we never knew possible. And that's where He meets us.
Ministry
I get the blessing of being able to help pour into an amazing local Church, Church Two42, as their Community Director. From walking with incredible leaders, to connecting with the community & getting to speak into different spaces has been such a gift. I have learned so much from our Pastors, leaders & people that I get to call brothers & sisters. I've also got the chance to work with Assure Pregnancy Clinic that blends medical with ministry and I just love what they're doing to come alongside so many. Looking forward to continuing to say yes to God in wherever He calls me to step out and speak into.
